🎃 The BODYFX 8 Weeks of Halloween Competition

Official Rules

Get ready for 8 weeks of Halloween makeup madness. This competition is open to all countries, all skill levels, and all styles — from glam to gore and everything in between.

🗓️ Competition Dates

• Starts: September 1, 2025
• Ends: October 26, 2025
• Final submission deadline: Midnight NZT, October 26

🧠 How It Works

• Each week from September 1, we reveal a new Halloween makeup theme
• Themes are already pinned to our Instagram and listed on the competition page so you can prepare
• There’s a collection page for each theme with tutorials and product inspiration

✨ How to Enter

1. Create a makeup look inspired by one of the weekly themes

2. DURING EACH WEEK: Post your look on your social media (Instagram or TikTok preferred)
   • Tag @bodyfxnz in the post
   • Use the hashtag #bodyfxhalloweencomp2025
   • Mention the theme name (e.g. "Witch Week")

3. You can enter one look per theme — up to 8 looks total
   • You don’t have to enter every week, but the more you do, the better your chances (if you miss a week or 2, you can still catch up, just no jumping ahead)

4. AT THE END OF THE COMP:Before October 26, emailyour entries to myrthe@bodyfx.co.nz
   • Attach each of your looks as individual square images
   • Include a video showcasing all of your looks (can be a transition, a story reel, or a simple montage of images)
   • Include your name, address and Instagram handle

🏆 Prizes

• Grand Prize — $666 worth of BODYFX products, judged by @khaleesiisaa
• People’s Choice Award — $333 cash, decided by public voting from our top 10 picks
• Weekly Spot Prizes — announced on social media every Monday

BODYFX will select the Top 10 Artists, which will be posted online for the People’s Choice vote.
@Khaleesiisaa will choose her favourite overall winner. Her choice may or may not be one of the Top 10.

✅ Rules & Guidelines

• Open internationally to all skill levels and ages
• Looks must be your own original work
• No AI-generated images or makeup filters allowed
• You may use prosthetics, FX products, wigs, props, or costumes
• Use of BODYFX products is encouraged but not required
• You can only submit one look per theme, maximum of 8 total entries
• Entries must be submitted by October 26, 2025 to be considered

📸 Image Use Disclaimer

By entering the BODYFX Halloween Makeup Competition, you agree that BODYFX may use your submitted images and videos for promotional purposes. This includes featuring your work on our social media channels, website, email marketing, and in promotional material for future Halloween makeup competitions.
