BodyFX News
BodyFX won again several prizes in the New Zealand Body Art Awards held at the Aotea Centre in Auckland last Saturday. First prizes for the categories went to Myrthe in the bodypainting category, Andrea for special FX and Nicole in the open section......
Due
to a fault in the organisation the children Layla, Amy and Sam with the
OPA tree did not receive their trophy and first prize on the stage. They
get to enjoy a kea campervan holiday to make up for it.
Not only for the All Blacks but also for BodyFX. We have done a lot of
facepainting around the country to support the rugby. We were present in
most fan zones and on Kiwi day out we were working on 8 locations. Did
you get your face painted???
In November BodyFX will
open a new shop/school/studio at 607 New North road in Auckland. This
will become your first stop for Party and ball make-ups, education in
make-up and all make-up, face paint products and prosthetics and much
more.
Yolanda will be teaching the first workshop on 26 November.
There is still time to book a place.
The make-up trade show in LA was fantastic. Our prosthetic range was a
big hit and lots of people commented on the uniqueness of the concept.
We have sold a lot of designs and added a few countries to our
distributors list.
We now have distributors in : USA, UK, Greece, Taiwan, Singapore, Netherlands and New Zealand of course
We like to thank our lovely models for showing our artwork.
Sian, Shelby, Hannah, laura and Liz thanks for being our models for
many years already. without you there wouldn't be any body art.
Also thanks to all our artists that helped grow BodyFX and are always
there to lend a hand and share their creative skills. Cheers to all of
you!!!
